Dow Constantine loves transit

Friends of Seattle loves that Dow Constantine loves transit.

Seattle's past failure to invest in rapid transit has left us 30 years behind many similar-sized North American cities, including Portland and Vancouver. It's time we started catching up.

He has a three point plan for supporting transit in the region generally, with West Seattle (which he represents on the King County Council) in mind particularly:

1) Support Sound Transit light rail (and he later hints at expansion to include West Seattle).
2) Support the Transit Now plan to expand Metro bus service.
3) A King County Ferry District to link Vashon and downtown Seattle and expand the Elliott Bay Water Taxi service.
